It still remains to be seen how coalition talks will turn out at this point, but let’s at least be thankful for the trouncing of the Christian Democrats and their Playmobil-faced leader Balkenende. A fitting revenge for outlawing squatting and the sleazy affairs that exposed the CDA for the bottom-pinching bastards they are. So let’s celebrate with a film by John Waters, in which his beloved Baltimore becomes the battleground of a suburban conflict between the sex addicts and the prudes.

When Sylvia Stickles (Tracey Ullman), a repressed housewife stuck in a rut, is hit on the head, she turns into a nymphomaniac (a cunnilingus bottom, to be precise) and joins up with a group of sexual guerrillas that includes three Bears, an adult baby and a splosher (feel free to look that up). They’re led by sexual messiah Ray Ray Perkins (Johnny Knoxville), who’s looking to invent a new sexual act.

A Dirty Shame also stars Chris Isaak as Sylvia’s befuddled husband and Selma Blair as her magnificently mammarian daughter Caprice, also known under her stage name as ‘Ursula Udders’.

Schijnheilig is a place that hosts a variety of free cultural events. The current status of squatting makes attendance of a free screening a rebellious act in itself.
