It seems crazy to think that Winston Kingdom (née International) has been part of the Amsterdam scene for 15 years already. Still, it’s the perfect opportunity for a party and both big names and small who’ve helped coat its walls with sweat and nicotine over the past decade- and-a-half will revisit Warmoesstraat’s best club. Night one of the feast serves up the ska and reggae of The Upsessions, sunny, soulful Australian singer Rob Sawyer, the cheeky electronics and hiphop pop of De Grote Vinnie, Donnie & Sjakie Show, and electro rock from The Fudge. Night two is headlined by Amsterdam’s top organ grinders zZz, with chaotic Belgian rockers The Hickey Underworld and new Amsterdam indie rockers Captain Capeman. Throw in spinners from numerous club nights, plus Live on the Low hosts, and you have a recipe that’s pure Winston Kingdom.
